While visiting St Maarten for the first time, I had the great fortune of meeting Tessa who is hands down the most incredible massage therapist I have ever met - clearly earning the name "Golden Hands". Tessa has a tent location set up past the pool at Flamingo Beach resort (furthest tent closest to the water). The setting is phenomenal - water front massage where you hear the ocean as you receive your massage. In my 11 day visit, I had the privilege of having 3 - 90 minute massages. I love deep tissue massage and that is what I got - not harsh painful massage but truly ones working on the right spots to relieve the all the knots and "hard as lead pipe" muscles (as Tessa called them). Ive had therapists who do massages as a job - Tessa does massages as a love - I truly felt her passion and desire to help me feel better. My first massage was a deep massage, the 2nd more therapeutic and the 3rd more relaxation as she worked out the final kinks. Now, if only I lived in St. Maarten! Tessa is a beautiful caring woman with both a heart and hands of gold. If you are in St Maarten, don’t miss the opportunity to treat yourself to the massage of a lifetime!!
